Russell Crowe's Noah Resurfaces on Netflix after Gaining Popularity

Russell Crowe has delivered some memorable performances in films like Gladiator, Master and Commander, and A Beautiful Mind. However, one of his lesser-known blockbusters, Noah, has recently gained popularity on Netflix. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, known for The Wrestler and The Whale, Noah was released a decade ago to a mixed reception.

nnDespite having a disappointing 5.8 rating on IMDb, the film received a respectable 75% from film critics on Rotten Tomatoes. "Regular moviegoers," however, only gave it a 41% approval rating.

With a budget of $125 million, a significant portion of the funds went towards securing an impressive cast including Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, and Nick Nolte.nnDespite its initial reception, Noah managed to gross over $362 million worldwide, making it a financial success. Although the film has not been in the spotlight in recent years, it has resurfaced on American Netflix and is also available for streaming in the Netherlands.
